The very few songs that the Turks say belong to them were recordded by Greek refugies (from Turkey) but not in Turkey or Greece!!! but in the USA (in NY). At that time that was the only place that had recording equipent.The songs were both in Greek and Turkish, that was their 'native' langauage. This is a fact and you can find these songs today on CD. Please enjoy the music and stop saying we took your songs. You took our land!!!!

o.0 Elena didnt choose anything... nor should she have to. She represented Greece in Eurovision because her music has heavy Greek elements. It would have been totally out of place in the Swedish national finals. There is nothing wrong with her competing for Greece. It does not make her any less Swedish. o.o
