Watch Henry Kissinger's interview where he talks about China. He says the population is shrinking fast, thanks to the one-child policy. Those huge buildings could be empty in 20 years.

Communism defines corruption. The government is taking all the control and the people are left behind. China is rising up, and that cost the poor to become poorer. It's a wealthy nation as a whole but not on per capita. Many are in poor living conditions. They protest and rally but oppression stops them. It should be the population that controls the nation.

If democratic government are in control of China, then China would be corrupted!!! Communism is the only way for the populated Chinese to rise up!!,, but still changed the government!

Koreans did not 'adopt' the Chinese writing system. Meaning is translated through differing characters but have you actually studied Korean at all? seriously

Communism and oppressive government is the main cause here. I mean 1.3 billion people in a single country. With a good democratic government, China could easily become super power and world leader in industry and influence. Instead many people are now seeing China as the epitomy of communism, oppressing 1.3 of it's people with fear. I hope one day China will become democratic and prosper as they should. So many people but mostly afraid of their leaders. Fight communism.

is your government better? your country is investing in these factories in china. they earn millions and hardly do anything to finance for water treatment plants.
