Thanks for the tutorial! I was looking for something significantly cheaper than Guerlain Khol powder--it's just waaaay too expensive for me. Islamic Mall (online store) is selling lead-free khol powder. I trust the product as this is the way both women and men have been doing for the past thousands of years.

Oh wow...I might try that. Looks really effective. I am enjoying the lipstick tube thing that I've been using, but it stays forever and a day. I'm not bothered by the staying power or the fact that it's Egyptian. I kinda think what's been working for a thousand plus years must have some good to it. My philosophy with everything. Hi nonazGirl! I don't have the liquid Kohl...I have the powdered black kohl on the wand. It comes in a gold jar called "Hasmi Kohl Aswad". I love the stuff but it doesn't come off for like 2 days! LOL

I love how that looks!! I want some of that, but strangely I'd be frightened to put it on. And this is coming from a girl who peels back her top eyelid to put eyeliner on the top waterline.

I've just discovered kohl in my late 40s! If only I had known! I use Guerlain's (non-lead) loose kohls. Apply it just the way you do! It's a soft, smokey look. East to do, too. I did it the Eastern way the very first time--easy as pie!Fun video, thanks! JM : )

Nice presentation! Ive only recently discovered loose powdered kohls by Guerlain. Lasts ALL day! Even on the waterline. I want to try the brand you recommend. I paid $33 per vial for the Guerlain. I've tried the eastern method. Looks painful but it's not! JM : ) GREAT JOB!!!!
