I have strong memories of partying in the taverna after we had a day of visiting the Palace of Knossos. I remember this night. I was there. I remember the guy dancing on the tabletop. Then he picked up the table with his teeth. John, see if you can find that. It would have been the same night. We drove from Xania and went east. We went to Rethimnon, I remember. And I distinctly remember the Palace at Knossos outside Heiraklion. Then I remember partying in the taverna in Heiraklion.

Mrs. Xilouris' music store is located on Panepistimiou between Syntagma and Omonia, in a "mini-mall". She is terrific and has a wonderful collection of Cretan music. The whole store is decorated with pictures of Nikos Xilouris.
