Peacocks at Plaka
Plaka is a small forest towards the south of Kos island, inhabited by peacocks, and also three cats, that get fed by tourists in the know.It is also one of the most peaceful places I have ever been.Turn the sound up and enjoy the silence - the noises you can hear are the wind in the trees with peacock chics chirping in the background. This was taken at about 6.00pm local time on 18th September 2007.A beautiful peaceful place, that the video doesn't really do justice to

Thanks for this. We've been to Kos twice and seen most of what there is to see, except this!Is it easy to find? It looks very peaceful. |
