My opinion is that Becker adds the acidic cynicism. Example being that this tune is essentially hopeful in that there would be something after WW3

Why did they edit out the fall out shelter sign at the end of this video?

I'm the same but then again how much of a difference is there between DAN and Fagen solo(aside from no Becker)?

What a great song. Love Steely Dan but never got into Fagen solo...until now. Trippy ass video too.

"The Nightfly" is my favorite album of all time. How could a record be more perfect?

There Is Not Enough Words Or Space That I Can Speak About My Love For Donald Fagen Solo, And Steely Dan Material. My Brother Turned My On To This Album. One Of The Greatest Ever. The Best Video Ever. I'm Mad About Dave Brubeck.

John Kennedy coined the phrase "New Frontier." In the 1960 campaign, he spoke of moving aggressively into the new decade, for "the New Frontier is here whether we seek it or not." I wonder if he ever made-out in a bomb shelter?

Still one of the best music videos ever made. |
