No Paul Simon really sings this. But he and Chevy Chase have been friends since Chevy was on Saturday Night Live and Paul Simon would regulary perform on SNL back in the 70's. That this was Chevy's favored paid back to Paul Simon for some silly bet made back in the 70's or 80's. As this was off of Paul Simon 1987 or 88? Graceland album

when i first clicked on the video, my thoughts were, "that singer looks very much like chevy chase. i don't know what paul simon looks like. i guess paul looks a lot like chevy." i'm now thinking that chevy chase is in the video and is lip-synching to someone. the singer is likely paul, and they make it seem as if the voice is coming from chevy chase. hey, maybe the short guy in the video is paul simon. maybe paul and chevy are there, while chevy lip-synchs to a recording of paul's singing.

I absolutely love this little diddy, classic song, Paul Simon is great and Chevy Chase is absolutely hilarious, like he's really singing the song.

Whenever I see Paul Simon I think of Goerge Costanza from Seinfeld, only Paul is one of the greatest musicians of all time and George is... Well he's just George. Greatings from Sweden!
