There's a Sega CD version. And 3DO I think that's got different graphics. There's other versions as well.

The Behemoth always gets destroyed no matter what. You cannot save it.Anyway WC3 is much better on the PC than it is on the Playstation of course. I still prefer the WC1 and WC2 style animations though too.

Even IF you could (& i never have)I doubt it would make much difference AS the Behemoth is SUPPOSED to be destroyed! Its PART of the storyline. It was 1 of several last ditch attempts to finish off the kilrathi once & for all. It would still get killed anyway. It is NOT meant to reach Kilrah prime!

Yep it's possible, the odds are just so badly against you that skill alone is like 10% and dumb luck the rest.

Unbelievable atmosphere. Back then I didn't really like 'flight sims' but Wing Commander and Gunship 2000 were both awesome (Amiga).Later played through Wing Commander 3 on the PSX, but it didn't come close to the original. Only fun thing about WC3 was that you could complete the game halfway through if you somehow managed to save the Admiral Tolwyn's 'big gun', which happened like once in 1000 attempts. :p

This was designed as a PC game, in fact it was minimum 3 years ahead of its time, in some respects it is still extremely modern today... The storytelling is absolutely great. The SNES Version does not come close to the original.This version here runs actually too slow, it should be a little bit faster

Those are actually old they havent made a wing commander game recently
