I agree. The translator shortened her answers on some of them and had to get them to make sense in English.

(cont'd) People can be so harsh; you have to remember she is in front of millions of spectators and probably awed by all of the sudden attention. Besides, how accustomed are the typical Georgian people to being in the international spotlight -- I think it is relatively infrequent, so she is a very big symbol in this competition for her country.

Not necessarily, sasacilo. Her answers may have not been fully interpreted into English with all the nuissance. I do not know Georgian, but it seemed on one or two questions that her speaking was considerably longer than the interpretation in English. Besides, she is probably trying to give a relaxed and confident interview, which I think she did.
