Well, being in a band myself (and I'm in no way comparing ourselves to RH;-), but I know that after playing the same song for such a long time, you crave for some new direction to take it because you just get so bored with it. And being the perfectionists that the are, Radiohead probably had ideas on how to change and improve every song. From what I can tell, this seems like more of a solemn track for Thom, not a rocking song. Have you guys seen the "Scottish Mist" version? Too great
