I guess during the Declaration speech his grand mother told him about, she must of left out telling him that slavery stll existed after the signing of it, where was the speech from Fredrick Douglas reguarding what the 4th of july means to a slave, and what about the millions of blacks who still today think of the independence of this country is not theirs??
