pippy82-My Dad fought alcoholism his whole life. He was great at so many things -- but his harmonizing abilitites were unreal. I so remember him jumping in on so many Bee Gee's, Eagles Songs, and so many of the early Motown songs, Tom Jones. But never did he try and compete with ELVIS. My granparents lived deep in the MOUNTAINS OF KENTUCKY -seemed like we all lived on the front porch singing, mostly Gospel because that was all ''everyone'' knew. I miss my dad's voice so much.

My parents always had music in the house. They listend to my music and I listened to their Big Band Sounds and Honky Tonk. My parents were just crazy about ROD and they were in their 50's then. My Dad had a good voice -- sang solo in Church many times. He loved this song and could harmonize beautifully with it. Rest In Peace Daddy. May 21, l921 --- April 7, 1986. I love and miss you so.
