I think you still can but I agree with modes 9

yeah but you see, you cant really be all that original, even 20 years ago you couldnt, without sounding extreme jazz or sounding really bad

He plays well...but there's nothing original or compelling about it. Let's be honest...Steve Vai, Tony MacAlpine, and Vinnie Moore were doing this twenty years ago. On the other hand, we should offer some encouragement because it sure beats rap and boy bands!

I think 113076190 is both, an ASS who never touched a guitar! He certainly has NO RIGHT saying "everyone can do that." That is without a doubt one of the most ignorant and short-sighted things I've read! Dumbass! Not only is Anton an INCREDIBLE technician, but his tone (although a bit dry) is very articulate and full, and his ideas (like Arkadiy Starodoub's) are UNIQUE. You don't usually find a lot of originality amongst shredders (IMO). Peace!

Anton - it has been a couple years. Glad to see your music is thriving. You bought a USA Ibanez from me off E-Bay back in 2004 - I still have your original recordings. Please get in touch if you can - would like to hear from you.Tim |
