SteffanLlwyd, Teaching people to swing does NOT increase their risk of drowning. NOT teaching them basic ocean safety increases their risk of drowning. NOT teaching them COMMON SENCE won them the ultimate darwin award. Exactly right. Question: why is maritime training often so poor? Answer, insufficient regulation, too much managerial power and too little union power. Join an ITF affiliated trades union! Bad bosses hate unions only because they are effective!
