Agree, the same thing will probably happen to the US in a century when china overtakes it from all the exhausted wars the US has fought. Or maybe the two powers will be much closer than they are now, btw, the German army and country is still one of the best and deadliest in the world.

Wenn die so blöd sind, in ne Straßemsperre zu fahren. Tja, Pech gehabt. Außerdem war die afganische Polizei anwesend, der Vorfall wird von den Deutschen in Zusammenarbeit mit den Afganen bearbeitet. Dass kann man nicht mit der "Hau-Drauf" Taktik der USA vergleichen.

Fest steht aber, dass bei einer Schießerei mit deutschen Isaf-Soldaten in Afghanistan eine Frau und zwei Kinder ums Leben gekommen sind

A Nation may have a powerful army (like Germany) but the usefulness of it is greatly diminished if such nation is controlled by people ouside their borders. Germany was a great nation, all right. But Germany realizes now that they cannot do a thing unless US allows them to. Germany recognizes that US invasion of Iraq was unlawful but they are forced to bow their heads. Now that Russia beat Georgia they have to complain loudly because the US gives them a kick in the butt.
