I have no grudge to Andres Segovia, but does anyone else hear that his b string (2nd string) is slightly flat? Probably because it's being played alot I would assume. It's going outta tune meng.

The way I view it............and this is comming from a rock guitarist.......is that you can learn alot if you spread you're musical tree out..........personaly I'm in love with Jimi Hendrix.......but I can't help but stand in awe at the greatness of Andres Segovia.........and thus..........I will learn classical guitar as well.........and would be a good idea for all other students of the guitar to study classical as well.

A wonderful performance, beautifully staged and sensitively photographed! For nature lovers, a bonus......you can see two bats fly (separately) through the long shot over the reflecting pool beginning at about 4.25 minutes into the video. Look at the center of the screen just above the top of the archway.

Excellent comment. and through the fire and flames is actually pretty easy! and Andres segovia is considered one of the best guitarists of all time so dont worry about him being immortalized.

Wow... This is just an incredible piece, and he plays it so well... it's really a shame that a man of his talent wasn't immortal... I don't care what anyone says... this piece may not be the hardest piece in history, but the emotion that goes into a piece like this exceeds DragonForce's Through the Fire and Flames any day. Incredible work of art.
