Whoa. This is a legitimate successor to Glenn Gould. He's as good as Gould technically, and he's found an ensemble to back him up. A true re-envisioning for the 21st century.

One should compare Loussiers interpretation with the original music played with authentic instruments as musica antiqua of Cologne or Alte Musik Freiburg do. Then you can hear how tight the links in rhythmicity and melodic turns between Bachs (& other baroque componists) music and todays jazz or hard rock music as e.g. that of Jethro Tull or Deep Purple are.
