Conrad Oberg (12yrs.) Jimi Hendrix Voo Doo Child!!!
Conrad Oberg (12 yrs. old), self taught visually impaired, piano and guitar player, performs the Jimi Hendrix classic "Voo Doo Child (Slight Return)." Conrad has already posted several other Jimi Hendrix songs, and has had MANY requests for this one. This was recorded live at a recent concert with his band, The One Elevens. The stage camera malfunctioned but we were able to piece the video together using footage from a fixed camera up in the sound booth. We hope you like it, please subscribe!www.conradoberg.comConrad Oberg was born three and a half months prematurely in the Summer of 1994. Weighing only one and a half pounds at birth, Conrad was left with no eyesight in his left eye and only 15% of the vision in his right. At age two, Conrad taught himself to play the piano, and again taught himself the guitar at age ten. Conrad has been performing solo live performances since he was four years-old, and has been fortunate enough to meet and/or perform with some of the greats of the entertainment industry. Conrad has been performing with his own band "The One Elevens" for the past two years, playing his own brand of blues, roots, and rock music. I always thought SRV had work left to do and would find a way back if it was possible. Apparently it is and he found his vessel. I'm another that will be watching his career. Incredible and thanks for being tuned into the spirit, young man. |
