Listening to C. Rose's grotesque American accent (apparently from North Carolina, according to Wikipedia) mangle first English and then Arabic names is making me want to pound a screwdriver into my ears. Hasn't anyone with a hideous regional accent who plans a career in broadcasting heard of elocution lessons? Mind you, the BBC is going this way too: nearly every presenter is from Liverpool, Ireland or Wales.
