They actually believed this was based on a true story although it's cleared up in the credits that it's made up.

Movie reviews, trailers and DVD back covers suck balls. I'm exceedingly pleased about the fact that I just saw this movie without a shred of prior knowledge about it except that it was famous for some reason. THAT'S the way I hope to see all of the "greats" so that I can judge them for myself (Citizen Kane, for example, failed to impress this Gen-Xer, while Dr. Strangelove did).In any case, my own review of the film is pretty precisely what Siskel and Ebert said so I won't bother repeating it.

", but this is a horrible review. Just giving away the plot"man, you said it. nothing to better fuck a great movie before you see it than listening to ebert drone on, complete with spoilers. what an ass. WTF detail _won't_ he give away? |
