Read his brother's book, Look Me in the Eye, by John Elder Robinson. It is an excellent and funny memoir. It explains how Augusten changed his name when he turned 18. His real name is Christopher Robison.

Just finished reading Wolf at the Table and it was as expected dark and heavy. I'm hooked on Augusten. Can anyone fill me in on when he changed his name? He refers to his childhood self as Augusten, but he must have been called by his given name. |
