no, their home survived , the mice chewed a bit of wiring in vehicles and died in walls ,stunk up the place but soon they were gone after the poison was spread .during the plague i remember the roads nearby were slippery with dead mice ,one would get hit by a car then others would feast on it and get hit too , it was like a carpet of fur to drive on .
