Thank you Maya for the very well made and helpful video. My wife and I brought the Challah for Rosh Hashanah dinner and it was a HUGE hit (we are practically rock stars). We have a really good recipe for the Challah but braiding makes it beautiful. We could not have figured it out without your video. We are not Jewish, but love to cook and we wanted to thank you and wish you a happy New Year.-Rob & Brenda

you saved my life. I told my boyfriend I would convert for him and our first roshn hashanah is coming up and i want to impress his mother. I made the cinnamon raison one with splenda. The only recommendation is that in the video I would reinforce the braiding steps. I actually had to turn the video off because you kept talking while i was still trying to concentrate on which one was going all the way over and which one was going in the middle etc :)

Impact,No, I just use the dough to make six long "ropes", braid it as usual (although it is very long) and then bring the ends around to make a circle. Anchor with toothpicks if they tend to come apart.

Do you do anything particularly different for your Rosh Hashanah Hallah?
