This is a fab song and the opening "Montreal" line is very evocative since that city has the highest concentration of beautiful girls in the world. But my God, this live version is going at a snail's pace! Who did the count in and was he on sedatives? It sounds on occasion as if it's about to come to a dead halt. He is however still in fine voice so thanks for posting.

Shoot the conductor or whoever did the count in. The tempo is so slow it sounds as if it's about to come to a complete standstill at times. Odd since people tend to speed songs up live through the adrenaline rush. Great song though and he's in top voice.

Amen bandypaul, I feel blessed that I grew up in the 70's and lived through that incredible period of great music

I've been to that place "above the city lights" of Montreal, around the time this song came out, and there were nothing but drunks and drug dealers!

GAWD! I always want to grab the nearest cute guy (too bad Anderson Cooper is GAY, boo-hoo) and slow-dance during that saxophone riff! Sigh ... |
